When you first see this house, you will be amazed by the giant aluminum-framed glazing on the front facade. Located on Bellevue Road in London, this remarkable home was designed by architect Matthew Ratsma. The three-story house features vibrant yet tasteful colors on its walls, enhancing its attractiveness.

The family room on the first floor is very bright thanks to the floor-to-ceiling aluminum-framed glazing that spans the entire width of the front facade. There’s no need to worry about scorching sunlight, since large curtains match the size of the window glass, effectively blocking the sun on hot days.

The chandelier in this living room is exceptionally unique, featuring several bedside tables hung with ropes and carefully arranged to create a creative design. Additionally, the patterns and colors of the rug harmonize beautifully with the walls and curtains.

This modern-style house incorporates wood flooring to bring a touch of tropical ambiance indoors.

The spiral staircase leading to the second floor is uniquely designed with ¾ circle walls, painted light pink on the inside and coral peach on the outside. This color combination harmonizes beautifully with the wood flooring.

In the dining area, dark colors are chosen to distinguish it from the family room. The walls are painted gray, the chairs are light gray, and the carpet is navy blue. Black vases and black-and-white wall art further emphasize the dark color scheme in this space.

Next to the dining room, there is a reading area with bookshelves that reach up to the ceiling and a chaise lounge for relaxing and reading.

The roof terrace on the first floor features a gray rattan corner sofa with a matching table. The addition of flowers and trees makes this area an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the fresh air.

The second floor features an oversized yellow bookshelf to accommodate the owner’s extensive book collection. The study room on the top floor offers a peaceful and pleasant learning environment, thanks to a large window similar to the one in the family room, providing stunning views of the outdoors.

Overall, the living room on the ground floor features a dominant neutral color scheme on the closed storage, shelves, ceiling, and floor. To counteract any potential monotony, a dark gray chair, a striking orange chair, and a colorful carpet were chosen. Additionally, the wall behind the television is painted blue. This combination of colors successfully makes the room lively and vibrant.

The choice of turquoise for one side of the bedroom wall is a clever way to make the room elegant and engaging.

In this bedroom, one wall is painted pink, creating a cheerful yet elegant atmosphere upon entering the room.

The bathroom continues the white and pink theme, with a large mirror enhancing the luxurious feel of the space, which also includes a bathtub.

The house is listed at The Modern House.
